Tough one
Beautiful today in North Devon. Wandered down to Westward Ho! for a pint and a pizza. A lot of happy people enjoying the sun :-)
I use the meet and greet. Very efficient. A little bit more but not that much from memory (maybe £20 a week extra). Since Covid I’ve flown a few times and always found the early morning flights a bit...
Another for Hawksmoor Seven Dials. Great food if you like steak and an always a great atmosphere in a cool restaurant.
I wouldn’t say the employee is being ungrateful - just financially astute. They will have probably read it on a financial forum or newspaper article, or heard it on the television from someone like...
^^^ I’m in no position to particularly advise on what’s healthy etc, but I would suggest getting something like nutra check and logging every single thing you eat and drink. It’s amazing how much you...
One of the pins in my Pepsi came loose and I happen to be in Cribbs Causeway at the moment so I’ve just popped in to Goldsmiths. The lady in there was very helpful and friendly, took it out the back...
Fair enough must have just been the two AD’s I dealt with.
When I went in to Harrods to get the green Tudor the two members of staff must have been in a competition to see who could look the...
This may well have changed in the last couple of years but previously you couldn’t buy a Rolex and have it posted to you, you had to pick it up in person, but you could buy a Patek and get that...
Thanks, I’ll take a good look at that as well :-)
Is that still worth getting with decent new mattresses? Say something like tempur, igel, posturepedic etc?
We need a new bed and mattress so did a search here and found this thread - lots of different recommendations to consider :-)
Excellent thread yumma. If it just helps one member here or gives a member ‘food for thought’ which may help a friend of theirs, then it’s worth it.
First thought I had was that Patek building they bought in Bond Street becoming a huge Bucherer Rolex boutique. Unless it’s been announced as something else.
Yep I’ve always thought it a shrewd move for Rolex to keep a distance (though having control behind the scenes undoubtedly) from the retail market.
Still I’m sure they know what they are doing :-)

Didn’t see anything like that happening!
I thought you implied that those models were available? To me they aren’t available as already sold, just put on display for a while.
I wouldn’t think so. More likely some of them could be sold/allocated and are just in the window for x amount of time. I know that’s the case with a couple of watches near me.
Someone I know went into the AD that he deals with to look at a watch that had been sold, but he wanted to get an idea of what it was like. Whilst he was there they said they had a watch in the safe...
^^^ Thats certainly food for thought. I think I’m always careful when wearing my watches when I come to London, but maybe that’s foolish thinking.
Weird though as where I live I never give it a...
As Montello said a question like this can’t be answered without knowing the full picture (kids, mortgages, age, retirement planning, other assets etc etc), but I’d say two factors to consider.
...
Well done, have a wonderful retirement :-)
I’ll be staying at the Wynn/Encore right opposite in a few weeks. Looking forward to seeing it.
Can’t really comment on campsites from any experience, (there are a lot though) but north Devon has some fantastic coastal walking as well as the Tarka trail.
Plus there’s Clovelly, Hartland,...
Fantastic result :-)
