The idea with 50-post limit and the software is good IMO.

But what I don't like is that full-members (>50 posts) use the Sale Corner as eBay: car for sale, camera for sale, Xbox for sale.

This forum is a watch forum, but hey, I'm not admin/owner/moderator so what do I know. ;-)


Sales Corner has never been exclusively for watches.

Sales corner is for the use of forum members to sell, trade or seek any item. It is not solely for trading watches.

Well not only imho. I think most of us wouldn't be here if it was a watch-only forum. Me included.

It's a watch-grump-fun-tits-politics forum. And that's why it is so special.

It is not other-then-watches thingsthat are my main concern, it is the fixing in the one and same forum. We have Sale Corner and WTB. Why not Other-things Sale corner?

This may be purely academic, or not, depending on answers.
I've got a less than 50 post count, can I offer a swop?

Example: the shooting season is about to start, I no longer shoot, but have a beautiful old English gun which, I think, is worth the same as a decent Submariner/ Sea Dweller.

If this is out of order please delete but, for the education of many of us, please advise the pros and cons, and the general feeling of other members

Well being as trading of any kind is only permitted on Sales Corner, I'll give you two guesses what would happen to any trading posted anywhere else. :twisted:
