A thought.. I was wondering if it would be a a disaster to have PMs delivered optionally to our email? I'm a bit exhausted at backing up my PMs somewhere "safe" and deleting them when I could just have them filed in my gmail account..

I understand why the PM space is limited and also why a normal web discussion forum wants to have people log on to read their PMs.. but I don't think that it would be a problem here to allow people to redirect PMs into email. The only people who wouldn't log on anymore are the dealers on SC who shouldn't be there in the first place.

Don't know if the software has this option at all but if it's there.. please?

I can disable PMs for you though so that people would have to send e-mails instead.

Indeed - why would want all of your WIS dealings to be viewable via e-mail

Well my fiancé doesn't read my email and I still consider ours to be a quite normal and healthy relationship  Maybe we're weird but we don't open each others snail mail either.. And I've told her what the watches cost.. at least the ones she's seen :D

And Eddie, thanks for a creative solution but don't disable my PMs please..

Eddie,
can you enlighten me if it is possible to change a 'username' in this forum, and will any 'heroes/villains' remain under the new name ?

cheers, Peter

I don't know why this was posted in this thread but yes, it's possible to change username and yes, the new username would show on all older posts.

Actually, it is the other way round: Chuck Norris allows only one universe. If he wanted two, you could be assured it would be so.

Best wishes,
Bob
