A pretty decent record and the losing final was a penalty shootout but the armchair naysayers will tell you different.

Glad to hear they have got you sorted Eddie my old mate.
All the best,
Neil.
Excellent find Jason!
Like you I love a boot sale but decent stuff is pretty thin on the ground nowadays.
Congratulations on a great £4 buy.
I've got a couple of the old original sterling silver Yard O Led pencils.
Lovely things.
Beat me to it! :friendly_wink:
Not a series but "let it be" on Disney+ is just superb for any Beatles fans.
First date?
I wouldn't worry about the watch.
Plenty of other stuff to worry about. :friendly_wink:
I have always loved the Seamasters of that era and they were quite new when my wife bought this for me twenty odd years ago.
Wear it every day, so certainly a grail to me.
...
That's great news Tony!
Onwards and upwards my old mate!
I was going to cut the grass today.
Too wet now. :grumpy:
Yes we have one with the bundle, however it is often in use as getting in touch with my wife is virtually impossible as she never looks at the texts until she gets home :grumpy: and mine is switched...
In my experience I don't think any so called grail watches can possibly live up to your expectations and I've had most stuff.
Once it's in your hands it's just another watch. :disturbed:
Of...
If you can get a toe hold and build you can stay in the Prem. Of course Villa are a big club anyway.
I'm old enough to remember the good old days with both Norwich and Ipswich in the top division.
Just back from my Grandson's cup final.
I was absolutely fried!
They lost 4-2 in an exciting game but the heat did have an adverse effect on some players.
Not football weather at all.
Back in the day when I had my tuning firm it was all Lucas pumps and metering units.
They didn't seem to last all that long and were very expensive.
Glad there is an alternative nowadays.
Beautiful cars - yours looks handsome.
Our house is south facing too.
Dot has been frying herself!

I might well do.
Shardlake is actually a hunchback in the books. I like the sweep of the stories with real historical characters involved.
Absolutely glorious here today. Sunny and not a cloud in the sky.
Spent a hour weeding the garden and it got pretty warm!
They've made a series featuring CJ Sansom's 16th century lawyer?
I love the books but I don't think I would watch a TV series on them TBH.
I know a lot of watch freaks and none of them (including me) have ever owned a Bremont.
Evelyn Waugh's Sword of honour trilogy.
A man of taste!
Lovely this morning and looking good for this week with temperatures in the 20's. :encouragement:
That's lovely!
They're great, have one myself. Purchased new in 1989.
They are very well thought of. Some great sounds to be had.
Blimey Unc you don't do things by half do you?
Glad it is nothing horrible but it must have been frightening at the time.
